The symbiosis of modernity and ancient history.

They are graceful bodies. Mostly women's bodies. They squat, they stand, they sit. And they wake.

Sculptor Nando Kallweit has a distinctive style in his bronze sculptures, which he mostly produces in small editions. Some are barely 15 cm tall, others well over 2 meters. But they all have one thing in common: they are delicate, graceful, and delicate, with their long limbs constantly reaching upwards.

Their presence creates a symbiosis of modernity and an almost antique look.

Inspired by Nefertiti, the heads of his figures are reminiscent of ancient Egyptian history. Combined with the graceful, minimalist exterior, his works convey an extraordinary sense of calm. The rough surface texture, resulting from the manufacturing process, provides a contrast . The figures are either modeled in wax or created from flamed oak before being cast in bronze.
