Works like his life: full of emotion.

Cevin Parker is a Berlin-based artist. In his abstract paintings, he uses color emotionally, as a constantly evolving source of inspiration. Parker is self-taught—creativity is in his blood as an artist.

He reflects on himself and his surroundings, inspired by concepts, an impulsive vision, or an unexpected muse. His paintings draw on quirky notions of abstraction and the American Color Field artists of the 1950s and 1960s. Some of Gerhard Richter's basic ideas can also be recognized in his works.

The artist uses soft, muted tones and layers of acrylic. The traces of memory reveal a sensitive reflection of the world without ego.

Parker paints canvases with acrylic paint and uses research into color psychology to give his works a sensual effect. The harmonious tones of the surroundings connect his audience to the emotions he creates within them.

The background texture is built up through layered spray paint to emboss the canvas and capture different emotions. Meanwhile, expressive acrylic paint embossments narrate the artist's experiences based on their emotional state.

Parker has had sold-out exhibitions in Germany, Portugal, and Austria. His works can be found in private collections in Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Canada, Spain, France, and Great Britain.
